Getting to know David Del Llano...

Who are you, how old are you and from where do you hail?

27 years old from Redlands.  Just ended a career as a professional student...planning a comeback for Fall 2009 as a medical student.

How did you come to join this league?

We're all tied to this league through Britton in some way--Britton wants his name mentioned in all the bios.  (ed. note:  I actually don't know some people here)

What NFL and NCAA team do you root for?

As far as college goes...I follow SoCal teams and the Pac-10. Outside of the Pac-10 I support Michigan...I have no ties to the state....I got caught up with the whole Fab Five era and the OhioSt-Michigan rivalry.  Same thing goes for the NFL...I support the Raiders (I can guess all the predictable jokes made about that) and the Chargers b/c they have ties to SoCal. Not a Rams fan though... I followed the Cowboys of the early-mid 90's but can't stand T.O. so it's hard to support them now. (ed. note:  Basically you like every football team west of the Mississippi.)

If the league were to vote on a location for owners to possibly assemble and draft together to celebrate the 10th anniversary of this league in 2015, where would you propose, and why?

In 2015 I say we all sit around a conference table somewhere maybe in Vegas and take a picture of ourselves during the draft and submit it to all the fantasy sites. (ed. note:  Umm, what?)

Why is your favorite sports movie the sexiest ever?

My favorite sports movie is Remember the Titans..true story and it's told accurately...I think.

Do you see yourself as more of a 'People's Champion' or 'Hated Villain'?

Haven't actually won this league yet but I see myself as a People's Champion ...although I know my trade offers haven't won over many of you.  (ed. note:  David is very self-aware.)

Would you consider yourself a waiver-wire-vulture, a draft-and-sit, a jack-of-all-trades, or a little bit of everything?

I consider myself a little bit of everything manager...again, the shaky trade reputation hurts this a little but I try to mix it up.

Which female athlete would best cut it in the NFL?

Female athlete best cut out for the NFL. Easy pick is Marion Jones. Has the speed. Plus she took steroids and liked it. If not her then Serena Williams...shave her head and place her at the NFL combine and her type of build would impress the scouts....same goes for some of the women's water polo players at the Olympics.
